THE ART IN MY SUITCASE: Seven Wordless Book quilts and quilt postcards to hand out. In the mid 1990's Russia opened it's doors to the West, inviting teams to run programs in the former Soviet Pioneer camps around St. Petersburg. Teaching moral foundations rooted in Christian faith was welcomed. Marge Malwitz created seven Wordless Books to present the New Testament Gospel in creative ways. PHOTO: In this presentation three of the quilts were used. Team mates held the quilts as Marge told parts of the Gospel story using each quilt.
