I paint papers with acrylics to use in my collages. After creating the RAIN series of collages with minimal pieces of paper and fabric, I challenged myself to get even more minimal. In the Kolo Journal, I titled Rain, I simply chose one piece of painted paper to represent a rain-storm theme for each page. Here is the journal and the 12 pages of painted papers with titles, some paired up with descriptive word pictures from Job, Psalms and Genesis.
